As massage therapist we have seen massage therapy grow and become a
popular practice with chiropractors. We at Brooks Chiropractic are a
part of this concept. Massage therapy can be performed as an
additional treatment to your chiropractic service or can be scheduled on
its own. The pros to scheduling your appointment alongside a
chiropractic treatment is that the chiropractor is able to discuss with
your massage therapist the areas that he sees need work. We have two massage therapists on the
premises, male and female for your convenience.

We use many techniques during a session lasting from 30 minutes up to 2
hours for just $1.00 a minute. There are many variations of massages
that we utilize during a session. The application of these
techniques may include but is not limited to, stroking, kneading, tapping,
compression, vibration, rocking, friction and pressure to the muscular
structure or soft tissue of the human body. This may also include
deep tissue, trigger point and non-forceful passive or active movements.
We use oils and lotions to reduce friction on the skin. If you are
allergic to any of our products please let us know before session so that
we may use something else. Some forms of massage can leave you
feeling a bit sore the next day and as long as it is minor then that is
normal. Massage shouldn't ordinarily be painful or uncomfortable.
